Re: 11RC4 and WiFi issues - wpa_supplicant issues ioctl's with invalid argument

Hi Michael,

Michael van Elst wrote:
disc$ sudo wpa_supplicant -Dbsd -iral0 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf

ioctl[SIOCS80211, op=20, val=0, arg_len=7]: Invalid argument
That is harmless. wpa_supplicant tries to use more keys than we
support and is a bit noisy.

ok.. then I have no reason why it doesn't connect to WiFi! I tried several times, never connects nor say anything.

I also have a WEP as a relay router, ideal for older systems and testing and with WEP it connects and works.

So the culprit is WPA.
