GPT-fu [ was Re: ]




I may have just gone through some similar areas setting up -current on a 1TB SSD (and having no luck w the installer) and got by (I think) using these NetBSD 8 notes, that necessarily get into some details:

Does 'gpt show wd2' show anything? If so try 'gpt destroy wd2' and run it again

(If you want to zero by hand you'll need to hit both the start and end
of the disk as there is a gpt backup). gpt destroy is the key :)
