lilypond building hangs

Hi!

I've recently started building lilypond again, but sometimes
it doesn't finish.

In these cases, I have a few processes hanging around that I can't
even kill.

For example:

I'm parallel building on a tmpfs using python2.7 on
NetBSD-5.99.48/amd64 (with the TLS changes).

Does anyone else see this?
