Works for me(TM):

tron@lyssa:~>uname -a
NetBSD lyssa.zhadum.org.uk 5.99.46 NetBSD 5.99.46 (LYSSA) #0: Tue Feb 22
19:37:14 GMT 2011  tron%lyssa.zhadum.org.uk@localhost:/src/sys/compile/LYSSA
i386
tron@lyssa:~>grep tmpfs /etc/fstab
tmpfs           /tmp            tmpfs   rw,-m=1777,-s=1024M
tron@lyssa:~>df -h /tmp
Filesystem Size Used Avail %Cap Mounted on
tmpfs             1.0G       1.6M       1.0G   0% /tmp

        Kind regards
