What dit ever happen to this? Is the itohy-usb1 branch effective dead
or will it come alive again ?

Actually I have two USB LAN devices that seems to be covered by the
AX88178 support from that branch (A Belkin F5D5055 as well as an Apple
USB to LAN adapter).

I also tried to manually adapt the CVS diff for the AX88178 support to
a modern NetBSD-current, but it requires some manual tweaking and I'm
no kernel hacker -- and in particular not an USB hacker :-).

However, I'm willing to try to do a little more work on this patch and
send it back to the NetBSD community if there is a chance that someone
will take a look at it and maybe clean it up as needed for to commit
it.

- Erik
