there are now - i haven't been paying attention to new x11 packages
for a few weeks, but now that you point it out...

unfortunately, the radeon 5xxx and newer aren't yet supported for DRI,
and Xvideo depends upon that for the r500 and newer chipsets.  the mode
switching problem is also a known problem, as the driver has started to
gain dependancies on KMS for new chipsets.

we're lacking someone actively working on drm updates.  i have a bunch
of notes and ideas on what we need to do, but it's not complete and there
is a lot of work to do.


but i'll get the new driver in -current soon...
