Re: Xorg crashes and computer reboots
I tried a 32 bit kernel, too. But there is the same result... Maybe a
problem with the motherboard? I have problems with the integrated
raid- controller, either!

HP-Pavilion NM824AA-ABD a6759de ( )
I have a similar problem with my HP a6750t with a ATI RadeonHD 4850
running 5.0 branch code and an amd64 kernel; I can start X once per
and on the second invocation it either hangs with a corrupted
you get, or displays a corrupted screen and then reboots like yours.
However, on the 1st invocation of X since bootup, it works fine.
No solution, but at least something to check.. The other thing that
might be worth trying is if it works any better running an i386 (vs.
amd64) kernel, as I haven't tried that yet.
