HEADS UP: pkgsrc-2025Q3 branch calendar

Dear Develociraptors,

after the big success with 2025Q2, I will once more be the lead of the 
quarterly branch.

Please note the following dates:

Starting next Monday, September 1, we will be in "careful mode". This 
means that updates to packages with lots of dependencies will require 
PMC approval. See https://pkgsrc.org/quarterly/ for a list. The same 
goes for changes in pkgsrc infrastructure.


Starting Monday September 15, pkgsrc will be in a freeze. Hopefully, 
we'll be able to branch somewhere around September 26.

Thank you for your collaboration in this. I hope we can have a great 
quarterly release.
