Re: bad package build of gcc10
As an additional data point, the same host (amd64 hardware) running an
i386 distribution with a PAE-enabled kernel sucessfully built and installed
gcc12 with MAKE_JOBS=5.
Apparently my preparations for updating packages for i386-current removed
the previous gcc12 installation (among other things), so in this case gcc12
was installed as part of the dependency chain for another package rather
than being replaced as it was on amd64-current where the shlib check bug
removed it.
