My final round of bulk build testing exposed an issue, so I've updated
the patch again, hopefully for a final time:
https://github.com/TritonDataCenter/pkgsrc/commit/533ec12e765192fda72e58dce0e60a810b6a122b
This completed in my from-scratch SmartOS bulk build this morning
using USE_INDIRECT_DEPENDS=no (i.e. the default) with no apparent
issues. I am running it again from scratch with
USE_INDIRECT_DEPENDS=yes enabled to verify and compare.
The two bulk build results are in:
https://us-central.manta.mnx.io/pkgsrc/public/reports/upstream-bulktest/20241003.0928/meta/report.html
https://us-central.manta.mnx.io/pkgsrc/public/reports/upstream-bulktest/20241004.1005/meta/report.html
The packages in the second build where USE_INDIRECT_DEPENDS=yes and
failures are highlighted are:
djview4-4.12nb25
gnuradio-zeromq-3.10.9.2nb4
hydrogen-1.0.2nb26
py310-scikit-image-0.24.0
qbrew-0.4.1nb11
The macOS build that also ran with it enabled is here:
https://us-central.manta.mnx.io/pkgsrc/public/reports/Darwin/12.3/arm64/20241003.1627/meta/report.html
Due to different PKG_OPTIONS this one exposed issues with:
fetch-1.9nb2
gnuradio-zeromq-3.10.9.2nb4
pakemon-0.3.1nb12
Cheers,
