brokenness from erlang update
erlang was recently updated:
revision 1.74
date: 2024-08-16 05:56:14 -0400; author: adam; state: Exp; lines: +4 -4; commitid: 6EPuqyvC3KeJZ1mF;
erlang: updated to 27.0.1
OTP-27.0.1
and three erlang-* packages are failing to build:
erlang-jose: https://releng.netbsd.org/bulktracker/pkg/30571914
erlang-luerl: https://releng.netbsd.org/bulktracker/pkg/30565395
erlang-p1_mysql: https://releng.netbsd.org/bulktracker/pkg/30580639
picking jose, the failure is not obvious:
http://shadow.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/reports/HEAD/NetBSD-10.0-x86_64/20240820.1219//erlang-jose-1.11.2/build.log
and it looks like erlang is crashing, and thus buggy (even if jose has a
latent bug exposed by this -- but there are three).
Does anyone have insight?
Adam: Assuming this is is as hard as it looks and you can't resolve it
within a few days, could you either revert the update? (Of course if it
can be fixed with ejabberd working, that's better, but that seems to
involve debugging the erlang compiler.)
(It seems we need a bulk-test-erlang.)
