Can this be "cd pkgtools/mktool && make package-install" instead? That
would be lovely.

Obviously I'm not particularly happy about this after I explicitly said I didn't want it imported. I didn't think we accepted alpha quality software in pkgsrc? It's not even the most recent version.

Anyway, if you want to use it from here, fine, but I will not be accepting any responsibility if the version shipped in pkgsrc is unable to work correctly with pkgsrc trunk once any mk integrations are in, and I would appreciate some wording in DESCR to that effect.

I will however be fully responsible for ensuring that the latest version published on crates.io is.
