Generally we try to avoid that kind of breakage, but 10.99.x is the
development branch, so we sometimes break things (and then fix them,
but it might take a while to notice and fix them).

That said, we try harder to ensure that packages built for 10.x (x<99)
work on 10.99.y (and even harder for 11.z).
