Several packages use SYSCONFBASE in their rc files (files/xxx.sh) as a path to rc.subr. Without pkgtool/rc.subr, that doesn't exist. What's the suggested way to use /etc/rc.subr instead on NetBSD?
I implemented the support for using rc.subr from pkgsrc instead of the base system.
You can set SYSCONFBASE in mk.conf to choose a different directory to locate rc.subr. The default is /etc, except when bootstrapping outside of /usr/pkg or /usr basically.
