I implemented the support for using rc.subr from pkgsrc instead of the 
base system.

You can set SYSCONFBASE in mk.conf to choose a different directory to 
locate rc.subr. The default is /etc, except when bootstrapping outside 
of /usr/pkg or /usr basically.
