That is what should be true for all upgrades, always (absent discussion and a decision to desupport platforms), but it is particularly pointed pre-freeze. I am guessing ryo@ expects all will be ok, and I was really asking if anyone has encountered "firefox N works, N+1 does not" for firefox >= 100ish, in the last year or so.
