But how do other package systems handle the case where, in addition to perl, 
p5-Foo and p5-Bar, I have yet another package depending on both p5-Foo and 
p5-Bar and possibly perl, but not a particular version of perl? There is no 
need to actually remove and re-install that package if the package system was 
smart enough to realize that despite an intermediate inconsistent state, 
replacing perl and p5-{Foo,Bar} is sufficcient.
