I just built kdemultimedia3 against an old xine-lib and xine-arts and
then rebuilt having removed the xine-arts dependency and got no
noticable difference in the package. I can't remember why I
originally added the xine-arts dependency but looks like its no longer
needed. That will get kdemultimedia3 building which in turn should
allow the kde3 meta-pkg to build. Then its just a few stray kde3
packages (kmplayer-kde3 any others?) that need to be looked at.
cheers
