to be fully complete about this one, i've just read this thread :
http://mail-index.netbsd.org/current-users/2005/01/04/0011.html and i'm 
running XFree on a NetBSD 2.0_RC5, nothing fancy. My gnome 2.10 install 
was done yesterday with a cvs up being done minutes before (Makefile,v 
1.39 on gnome2-applets).
