Advanced Tele Communication Architecture, aka PICMG 3.x.
See www.picmg.org. (The "AMC" and "MTCA" lines in the
spec table also belong to it. We are actually going
to build peripherals for MTCA aka uTCA.)
That's basically a backplane with serial lines suitable
for PCIexpress, 1G/10G ethernet, SATA and some more.
It will need a lot of runtime configuration and event
handling.
