Hi, berte! That's great! I ported our current bcm43xx driver bwi(4)
from OpenBSD and Dragonfly almost a decade ago now -- that was how I
got into NetBSD kernel development. Unfortunately, I was clueless
about wifi, so it wasn't a very good job (and as you are no doubt
aware, bwi(4) doesn't support the newer firmware).
I'm afraid I'm still clueless about wifi, but I would be happy to help
with general NetBSD kernel development issues and navigating some of
the network stack. Feel free to email me directly or ask questions in
#netbsd-code on Freenode.
