Once again, no it has not. The code to read the directory was added
in vnconfig.c version 1.41, June 9, 2013.

NetBSD 6 (all variants) is using version 1.40 (Aug 30, 2011).
Earlier NetBSDs use even older versions.

The directory reading stuff is only in NetBSD 7 - it was added as a
method to deal with the problem of how to list all the vnds, when there
are billions possible after vnd was made cloning.

Before then, vnconfig told about vnds in the kernel, with no regard
at all to what is in /dev. That's what is in head now, and what
should be in netbsd-7 and netbsd-7-0 (but isn't yet.)
