Someone should adjust the ffsconfig(8) man page, then:

$ man fssconfig | tail -5
BUGS
     The fss(4) driver is experimental.  Be sure you have a backup before you
     use it.

That means a ffsconfig(8) with the backup argument pointing to a
different file system?
I assume the backup file will roughly need to hold the amount of data
written to the original fs while the snapshot is active. Is it true that
if the backup file is lost or the fs containing it runs out of space
I only lose the snapshot and the original data is unaffected?
