I don't know that.

Another idea is, if lvm is considered stable, to create a low-level
snapshot via lvm after a sync (without an unmount) and then mountig the
snapshot and hoping that WAPL handles the situation nicely.  Backup from
the snapshot, then destroy the lvm-snapshot.
