pmf_device_register() vs pmf_device_register1()

Hey,

now that Matthias Drochner added pmf_device_register1() into pmf(9),
which one should be used if I want to modify a driver to register
a pmf shutdown handler?

I suppose that pmf_device_register1() is a temporary solution and will
be made the default solution in the future?
