Currently, there are several different tools for disk subsystems (cgd, ccd, raid, lvm) and partitioning (mbr, disklabel, gpt). If you had a single tool for each of these tasks, providing a uniform interface to each of them, this would not only make sysinst much easier (you would just have a single function used on every subsystem), but also the handling by a user. Either from the shell, from a curses interface, or even X (sysinst's future?) or html. Regards, Julian
