1. only xorg-server.old has xaa.h, so -DHAVE_XAA_H would make sense
   there, but it doesn't with 1.18
2. it t matter anyway.  xf86-video-nouveau removed all XAA support
   in 2007, and as such, nothing here is conditional upon HAVE_XAA_H
3. is a magic number
