I assumed that because they weren't already done that way, there was
some reason. I'm not particularly attacehd to the way this is done now.
I'm under some time constraints at the moment (this is a university
project), but this can be changed in the future.

Does anyone know if there actually is a reason that they weren't
attached as pseudo-devices already?
