i understand what you intent is and what you describe would be fine for
e.g., the Guide or some FAQ, but not for the manual page.  our manual
pages should describe the functionality of our operating system, not how
similar problems are solved in other systems.  you don't see iptables
terminology mentioned in ipf manual pages, neither you see lilo features
listed in boot(8).

one last time i ask you to back it out, please.
