Yes, and for every other disk I have in the system.

This might mean that my boot device changes and I'd have to adjust
/etc/fstab. Maybe not be a big deal in an all-wedges world, but
it caused trouble in the concrete case I had to solve.

It also was handy debugging & fixing the kernel (common) code.
