Shouldn't it be noted that the new mkdep(1) is required for this
in UPDATING? With the old mkdep, I got:

#    create  __assert.d
mkdep -f __assert.d --   -I../../../../../../lib/libkern/arch/i386 -Di386 
-I../../. -I../../../../../../arch -I../../../../../.. -nostdinc -DLKM 
-DMAXUSERS=32 -D_KERNEL -D_KERNEL_OPT       
../../../../../../lib/libkern/__assert.c
cc: ambiguous abbreviation --
[... and the same error repeated on each file]
