Pull up revision 1.3 (requested by manu in ticket #293):
Commented out COMPAT_IRIX in GENERIC kernels, because it is still
quite experimental.
Added irix_kmem and irix_usema pseudo devices which are used by
IRIX binary compatibility (commented out for now)
