            code that is originally taken from NetBSD.  Hey, at
            least I credited the source in the commit message.
            This is a lot more than OpenBSD developers often do
            when committing code originally from NetBSD.

        (2) Who's to say I *wasn't* going to discuss the changes
            with you, once the TODO items were addressed?  OTOH,
            many of the changes would have meant a flag day for
            OpenBSD, thus greatly reducing the chance that you
            would have accepted the changes anyway.
