Uhh, I was afraid it could be something like that.  This brings up the
issue of ... err ... `properly' handling manual pages in pkgsrc.  It
does not follow the normal settings for the src tree (as I'm sure you
all know) -- or not at least for all packages.

I'll fix kermit to do the right thing.  Thanks for pointing this out,
Matthias, and sorry for the breakage.
