Can't we just:
1) Work toward getting of rid linkset interfaces instead of adding
2) Define a holy set of linksets which must be processed whenever
anything is loaded.
3) Add some logic to the module build which will cause it to fail in
case the module contains any known link sets.
(rough order of personal preference)
Now we have a bunch of stuff in a broken limbo and no way to verify it.
Yes, it's highly unlikely anyone will dynamically load the pmap, but
the availability of the interface will attract uses which are less benign.
