I assume that it's possible to get something to eat there also :-)Hey, So there was some chatter off-list about tonight's beer venue. Looks like everybody agreed on the Fish Bar (237 E 5th St, betw. 1st and 2nd Aves). Perry, Lubomir and possibly Julio might be there as early as 6pm, I myself will probably get there around 7:30pm (so you can order Li'l Frankies at 7:15pm :-).lil frankies is the awesome pizza joint (: unfortunately i'll arrive only on friday but next thursday -- totally! cuI don't know that place. . . but Enzo's is 2nd below 4th Street. . . and I think it's the best NYC pizza around.Enzo's? That's crazy talk.
Not that I believe everything on the internet, but. .. http://www.yelp.com/biz/enzos-pizza-new-york OTOH. . . these are two different types of pizza. . .Enzo's is old school NYC pizza that seems to have disappeared in the 90's. . . and Lil Frankie's seems to be classic Napolitano pizza. . . so we're talking apples and oranges. . . or maybe peccorino and mozzarella.
Let's just say the only two places to eat pizza are Naples and New York. But you don't have the dirty Naples water in NYC. . . so there's no real Napolitano pizza in NYC.
