I have just updated the HOWTO. I think it's about to get a tweak to
recommend xenkernel46, with a caveat that there is some issue with
Ubuntu as a domU on 46 so maybe you want 45 if so. But I am tending to
update as I actually try things. (I am updating some systems, both the
NetBSD and the Xen versions, at the moment.)

Definitely recent netbsd-7 is the recommendation. It now says that.

I also spiffed up the VT-x section based on your discussion with Manuel.

The old PCI passthrough does not seems related to the VT-d stuff. But
this could explain why old PCI passthrough is gone. (An update is
needed here.)

@tege: Could you enhance the bit about "wrong and/or incomplete" with
respect to the NetBSD/Xen howto? If there's anything wrong (which I can
readily believe), I'd like to fix it, but it would help to point out
errors precisely (in your page, or here). If it's just that the
NetBSD/Xen howto is less detailed about your particular example, that's
fine, but I'd like to avoid people thinking it's wrong if it's not.
