Whups.  This isn't going to work:

|       32-bit Intel/AMD (i386)
|               FreeBSD supports both hardware virtualized (HVM) and fully
|               para-virtualized (PV) kernels on i386. PV drivers are
|               supported only with the PV kernel.

I guess what I need to try at this point is to get a PV Xen kernel to work
with the filesystem I just installed onto using HVM.
