And again.

A question: Can a RAM failure (parity error) cause an ACPI exception? If not,
what are the common reasons for such exceptions?

I configured syslogd to send kernel messages to another host, but when the
ACPI Exception flood started, no syslog messages were logged on the other
host (so I don't know what the first message would be). :-(

If I can't figure this out soon, I'll have to switch to some other OS. :-(
