I've not extensively tested phy: for a long time, but I fear that
this cause issues with netbsd-5 and HVM (both xbdback and qemu wants to
open this device, and this is not allowed any more). I'm not sure how we
could easily fix this.
Any way to test a HVM guest with a file: virtual disk instead ?
