Re: XEN and cardbus

Given that it works with GENERIC and not wtih XEN3_DOM0, I would look
into what happens with pci memory space mapping. Read the manpage for
cardbus(4). Basically mappings are set up to put the cardbus (pci)
memory space into the host computer's memory space someplace, and the
code before what you patched is trying to avoid where physical memory is
mapped. But on xen, the whole memory layout may be different.

My next try was to try this:

options PCI_BUS_FIXUP
#options PCI_ADDR_FIXUP
#options PCI_INTR_FIXUP
#options PCI_INTR_FIXUP_DISABLED
options RBUS_MIN_START="0x80000000"
cbb* at pci? dev? function ?
cardslot* at cbb?
cardbus* at cardslot?
pcmcia* at cardslot?
siisata* at cardbus? function ?
rtk* at cardbus? function ?
re* at cardbus? function ?

The RBUS_MIN_START helped in that way that I don't get memory mapping problem now, but an interrupt related problem. Playing with PCI_INTR_FIXUP{,_DISABLED} options didn't help and I'm getting this:

linkdev LNKD returned ACPI global irq 11, line 11
panic: Failed to bind physical IRQ 255

Full dmesg is attached. Any idea what can I do now?

Thanks in advance,
Juraj
