HVM guests with xen 3.3.2?

I'm contemplating creating a Linux (Ubuntu 9.04 or 9.10, when it comes
out) HVM guest on a Xen 3.3.2/Netbsd-AMD64-5.x system.  (a) Should that
work?  (b) Do I need an fdisk partition, or will a vnd disk work?
