Yes, com0 is commented out in the default Xen kernel config, because this
serial port is used by Xen itself (used to be true for Xen2, I don't think
I've tried it with xen3 and a VGA console). I think if you set
console=vga, Xen won't touch the serial ports at all (by default, it
may use both vga and com0).
