The problem with using the old 3.1.1 boot is that it doesn't recognize the newest 
kernels. It complains "Boot failed: Inappropriate file type or format".

I will work on this, but I'll need some help.

The mopd sources that I found were buggy too, I had to patch them to get my MVII to boot NetBSD 1.4.1:

The main upstream source directory was offline when I was attempting this, so these were the best sources I could find -- possibly not the latest.
