Hm, I just checked -- what configury magic do you need?  I just applied
some patches you posted to the binutils mailing list (except for the
relax patch, since I'm not sure if it's broken in 2.11.2 gas).  Everything
else looked like it was okay.  I'm currently building a new-toolchain for
sun2 which I'll try out...

Along these lines -- have you filed a copyright assignment with the FSF?
I would really like for those m68k patches of yours to be in binutils 2.12,
but Nick won't take those patches unless you have an assignment on file.
