Actually, after several days of trial and error, I managed to get VNC server running on Ultra 10, so I can reboot or power off my client without impacting remote X11 sessions. Tried tightvnc, but it core dumps on sparc64, however tigervnc works really well. And to install NetBSD, I just use a serial console.
