I have a Yamaha Model CRW4260tx external SCSI
drive. I have Debian but no working NetBSD
system. I can try to compile mksunbootcd in
a Debian system, make a 5.0.2 CD and try to
boot the Sparc 2 from the Yamaha drive.

BTW you can simply try iso image in 5.1_RC3:
ftp://ftp.NetBSD.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-5.1_RC3/iso/sparccd-5.1_RC3.iso
but I'm not sure sun4c machines support cdrom boot.

They should, and at the very least they should netboot.

have fun
Michael
