Yes, I forgot about that. Which reminds me - did you ever play with the shark's TV output?

Hmm, I /think/ at least a handful PReP and CHRP machines had an x86 emulator in ROM for just that purpose. The PowerStack-II documentation mentions it too but I doubt it's there because only a handful graphics boards I tried actually worked, and those which worked coincidentially had AIX drivers as well and finally, the Cirrus board that came with it had an empty ROM socket so I guess the firmware just knows how to deal with the Cirrus, Matrox and S3 chips used by Motorola and IBM.
