I'm not currently set up for extensive testing (or a serial console, 
for that matter), but HEAD as of 202312111910Z doesn't look great: 
PCMCIA is still (or again) broken...

The installer starts up initially, but is somewhat useless without a 
disk device.

When breaking out to a shell, something simple like running 
dmesg | grep wd0 from the install kernel environment produces 
a segfault ...

 > Real time signal 27 (core dumped) grep wd
