   Now, let us face the realities around us.  ARM is suffered from multiple
   ABIs (I got a real bite in day work), and AltiVec enabled PPC binaries
   are painful also.  So, life is no worse than used to be...

i think "o64" is effectively dead.  it was invented merely as
a stop gap until there was something better, and even 5 years
ago everyone i knew had moved off, or was moving away from it.
