ISO images of NetBSD 7 or later are bootable on real Mac hardware?

Hi,

I am try to use pkgsrc/emulators/pearpc and qemu-system-ppc from
pkgsrc/emulators/qemu with NetBSD/macppc 7.
However ISO image format of NetBSD/macppc 7 is different from
before 7.
See as follows:

$ file macppc-1.6.2.iso
macppc-1.6.2.iso: DOS/MBR boot sector

$ file NetBSD-6.1.2-macppc.iso
NetBSD-6.1.2-macppc.iso: DOS/MBR boot sector

$ file NetBSD-7.1_STABLE-macppc.iso
NetBSD-7.1_STABLE-macppc.iso: ISO 9660 CD-ROM filesystem data 'NETBSD_71_STABLE'

1.6.2 and 6.1.2 are detected as bootable with pearpc and qemu.
7 is not detected as bootable.
"dir cd:,\" on qemu's OpenBIOS returns "Unable to locate device cd:,\ ok"
instead of directory listing.

With real PowerPC Mac hardware, CD-R created with NetBSD 7's ISO file is
bootable?

I want to know this problem is emulator specific or not.
I have no PowerPC Mac hardware.

Thank you.
